Bicycle Accidents

Riding a bicycle is great for the environment and for your health.  However, it can be especially dangerous due to a lack of adequate bicycle paths and negligent drivers.  In Maine, drivers are required to exercise due care by leaving a distance of at least 3 feet between the vehicle and the bicycle.  Unfortunately, many drivers don’t adhere to this law, and bicycle accidents are common.

Determining fault in a bicycle accident can be a complex evaluation as there are many rules of the road for both bicyclists and drivers. If you’ve been injured in a bicycle accident, call an experienced personal injury lawyer immediately.
